Casino Games – Dealer

The Dealer is expected to perform his/her duties in accordance with quality, service, and safety standards of the Eagle River Casino & Travel Plaza.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct gambling games smoothly, legally, and according to casino rules
• Exchange money for casino chips
• Make sure players have placed bets before play begins
• Announce winning numbers or colors
• Compute payoffs and winning bets
• Collect losing bets
• Respond to questions about game rules and casino policies
• Specific duties vary depending on game (Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Poker, and Roulette)

Requirements:

• Basic Mathematic skills required to determine winnings, losses, and game outcomes.
• Good Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills.
• Accurate – makes few mistakes.
• Manual dexterity required to handle cards smoothly.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
• Good stress management skills.
• Has the ability to gain an AGLC Gaming Workers License
